"The chuppah, a Jewish wedding canopy with four open sides and four poles, is a central part to every Jewish wedding," says Cigall Goldman, founder of Mazelmoments.com, a website full of resources for Jewish events. For this chuppah, NYC's Swank Productions created flower panels of yellow bottom mums for the backdrop, which complemented the couple's yellow-and-orange wedding theme. 

"The chuppah represents the home you will make with your partner and it is where couples say vows and become a family," Goldman says. Made of branches, organza and lush greenery from New York's In Full Bloom, this chuppah fit seamlessly into its surroundings. 

White fabric creates a neutral palette for trails of white and purple flowers accented with long strands of crystals. 

For this Tuscan-themed wedding, a traditional chuppah was flanked with potted ferns—the bride's favorite plant.
