DIY Decoupage Crafts
Break out the Mod Podge (and a brush) to create these awesome projects from HGTV Magazine. You’ll hardly recognize this old-school craft.
Pop-Art Dresser
Remove the hardware and pull out the drawers. Measure the drawer fronts and the kick plate, then cut a poster into sections to fit. Brush Mod Podge onto the backs of the poster pieces and stick them on. Coat with layers of Mod Podge. Let dry, then poke holes in the paper from inside the drawers. Reattach the pulls. Dresser: Rast 3-drawer chest, $35, ikea.com. Paint: Silver Threads by Olympic. Poster: 24" x 36" Pan Am "London," $19, stores.ebay.com/vintageartandposters
Patterned Drawer Knobs
Cut paper into circles a little larger than the head of the knob. Coat each knob with Mod Podge, then smooth the paper over the wood, folding under any extra. Coat with layers of Mod Podge. After papering, poke holes in a shoebox lid, then stick knobs in them to dry. Knobs: Liberty 2" round wood cabinet hardware, $2 each, homedepot.com. Paper: bottom left: origami paper, $8 for 100 sheets, pearlriver.com; bottom right: cocktail beverage napkins, $5 for 20, casparionline.com; all others: vintage books and maps, try Etsy for similar options
Comic iPhone Case
Place the case on the back of a comic book page and trace around it and inside the camera hole. Cut it out, using an X-Acto knife. Brush Mod Podge on the back of the paper and stick it on the case. Coat with layers of Mod Podge. Case: Sure Fit PC+TPU case for iPhone 5 in gloss white, $5, monoprice.com

Paper: Gold and chartreuse chevron fine paper, $5 per 22" x 30" sheet, paper-source.com
