Designer's Notes

One of the more intricate beach-inspired elements in the space is the fireplace. A strong focal point that is beach appropriate but not fussy, the fireplace features a “coral reef” stone veneer that recalls an ocean reef or a cool shell that you might find while walking on the beach. The simple application pattern lends a more modern feel despite the organic nature of the stone, and as a finishing touch, sand was added to the subtle grout lines for added authenticity.
