Two dedicated entrances – from the front yard and the motor court – separate business from private life. In the entry area, all eyes focus on the dramatic acrylic painting “Yellow Tail Vision” by New Mexican artist Farrell Cockrum. "We were in Old Town Albuquerque and walked in Blackbird Gallery, and it was like, 'Oh my gosh, that is so amazing.' And we bought it on the spot," recalls interior designer Linda Woodrum.
The perfect mix of rustic and modern, a barn-wood vanity mirror is flanked by two sleek steel, zinc and brass wall sconces. A tempered, frosted-glass vessel with a single-handle faucet stands in for a traditional undermount sink.
Tongue-and-grove pine ceilings and Brazilian chestnut flooring extend into the office space. A sleek ceiling fan cools the home office and provides a pop of industrial-chic style.
