Ethnic Contemporary Dining Room

This space is now ready for dining and entertaining. A new table, chairs and light fixture are the centerpiece of the room, but the accent pieces really shine, too — literally. The candles give the room a lot of warmth and tie the new wall color to the table and to the buffet, which replaced the smaller pieces on the back wall (shown in the first after photo). Gone is the oversize wine storage unit and in its place is a cozy seating area with side table. A new light fixture, rug and curtains complete the look. Curtains are a great way to get an accent color up on the walls, Karen notes.
