Ahmed Hassan

Landscape designer Ahmed Hassan, host of DIY Network's Yard Crashers, began his involvement in landscaping at a very young age. Raised on a California alfalfa farm, Ahmed learned early on how to master a mower and turn turf into art.

Over the past 17 years, his interest in anything outdoors has led him to become one of the San Francisco Bay Area's most sought-after young landscape designers. He was supervisor of a landscaping and gardening team for Redwood City, Calif., and owns his own landscape design, installation and maintenance company. He conducts workshops for the general public on topics ranging from park maintenance to landscape design.
