Season 3, Episode 13

Josh Crashes Blog Cabin

Josh and crew head to upstate New York to crash DIY Network's Blog Cabin. The cabin's main living space, the great room, is a shell when Josh arrives. In three short days, he builds out the room, giving it a rustic feel. The fireplace surround is covered with stacked stone and the house's original mantel is reused. The hearth and entryway are laid with locally harvested blue stone. The vaulted ceiling is covered with white knotty pine planks, and surrounding ceiling trim is attached and stained. A freetanding closet covered with wood shingles is built near the entry, and a hinged barn door is built and attached. Finally, a farm bench is created using reclaimed wood.
