Kari Coffey, from Saginaw, MI
Kari Coffey just won the $750,000 grand prize in this year's HGTV Green Home Giveaway, including a modern Spanish-style home in Tradition, Florida, and a 2009 GMC® Sierra Hybrid.
Kari, a native of Saginaw, MI, serves as a lab technician for the Saginaw County Department of Health and recently celebrated her 10th wedding anniversary with husband Mike, an independent contractor for a snack food company. The couple, along with 4-year-old daughter Sarah, enjoys spending time outdoors and shares a passion for golfing, camping and waterskiing. Kari, who entered the HGTV Green Home 2009 Giveaway five times, says she and her family look forward to visiting their new home for the first time and touring their favorite spaces: the screened porch, the children's bedroom and the hydroponic garden.
