Traditional Kitchen with White Subway Tiles
Advertisement

Designer's Notes

This traditional kitchen with classic off-white cabinetry and Carrara marble countertops has a vintage feel due to the use of industrial window pulls as cabinet hardware, industrial pendant lights and white subway tile with charcoal grout. The wallpaper backs of the glass-front cabinets' nod to the Victorian architecture of the home, and the custom-tiled hood was inspired by a local restaurant kitchen. Tip: Don’t be afraid of charcoal grout and glass-front cabinets that show your kitchen items; they’re what make a kitchen a kitchen, even if they don’t match.
