Respond S'il Vous Plaît

Put guests in a Parisian state of mind with these adorable invitations, crafted to look like airline boarding passes. “Guests instantly get the French feel and know what to expect — and how to dress — for the soiree,” says Daniela Lukomski of Austin Styled Love the design? Download it here

Warm Welcome

Let them know they’ve arrived with a welcoming sign at the driveway, complete with balloons and quaint touches.

Antique Decor

Add a “found at a French marketplace” vibe with a vintage birdcage filled with baby’s breath and a pair of antique babydoll shoes.

DIY Banner

This charming sign — it reads “for the little one” —greets guests as they make their way into the hostess’ house.

Parisian Sweets

Guests will say “oh la la” as they check out the patisserie station, topped with scrumptious French sweets. Swags of colorful tassels add a festive feel to the “Café de Paris.”

Donut Tower

For a fun twist on the classic, yet complicated, croquembouche, try this donut-hole version instead. A Styrofoam cone serves as the base and toothpicks secure the powdered donut balls in place.

DIY Diaper Cake

This sweetly decorated diaper cake in soft pastel hues looks right at home amongst the delectable pastries. Get the easy how-to here.

Charming Cake Topper

Top off the diaper cake or any of the edibles with charming little banners simply attached to a floral-print straw. You can continure with out “let them eat cake” theme or customize them however you like. Get the printable banners here.

Elegant Table Setting

As guests make their way to the table, they’re greeted with a beautiful Parisian-inspired setting, from vintage lace runners to a collection of quirky settings and serveware for a found-object look. We especially love the eye appeal of the varied heights of the serving trays and decor.

Dainty Dishes

Here, a place is set with eye-catching layers for texture, color and a welcoming feel. Dainty floral china looks just right paired with a speckled charger atop a folded, gold-printed napkin. “We used mismatched china and glasses to give an elegant but eclectic and intimate vibe,” says Dominguez.

Little Details

Eiffel Tower charms are playful additions to glassware stems. The center of the table gets an unexpected touch with a foundation layer of music-sheet paper.

Beautiful Blooms

Skip the fussy floral arrangements and go for a centerpiece in keeping with the theme. Here, a vintage cloche shows off a clever stack of topsy-turvy teacups finished with a pretty silk bloom.

Snack On

Says Dominguez, “We wanted to set up a table and food spread that was representative of a French bistro: paper-and-twine-wrapped baguettes, wine, jams, honey, grapes, a variety of cheeses and an assortment of mouth-watering pastries.”

Gifts for Baby

After the eats, it’s time for mom to open her presents. An antique chandelier and elegant wingback chair make for an especially chic outdoor setting.

Yard Games

Time for a little more outdoor fun with a lawn game! Here’s the dad-to-be gearing up to take his turn at the ring toss.

DIY Ring Toss

Glittery wine and champagne bottles are tucked amongst pretty bottles of various heights. The rings are wrapped with washi tape in classic baby hues of blue, pink and yellow. Learn how to DIY this cute setup here.

Themed Backdrop

A glitter-decorated paper Eiffel Tower, along with a few pretty props, makes for a great photo op for fun and memorable shots. "People love taking photos with their friends, and setting up a designated area with a specialized backdrop will make the event even more of a hit," says graphic designer Erin Reas.

French Favors

At the end of the day, send guests on their way with beautifully-boxed macarons topped with a sweet thank-you tag. Au revoir!
