Custom drapery panels with flat black hardware flank the dining room’s historic windows. By doubling the amount of drapery needed, designer Brian Patrick Flynn was able to make the space feel cozy and lived in.

To highlight the historic windows in the long and rectangular space, an L-shaped perimeter design with no upper cabinets was used on the kitchen’s sink side. “It was on purpose because I wanted to keep the whole kitchen really streamlined and simple,” says designer Brian Patrick Flynn.
