Tiny Alaskan Homestead

A couple plans to build a simpler life in the great outdoors of Alaska with support from friends and family. He plans to use his aerospace engineering experience to complete most of the build, but her creativity is what will set their tiny house apart. This 400-square foot lodge will include a handcrafted fireplace created with stones picked from the nearby shore, an artistic penny floor mural, handmade counters, hidden storage for fishing gear and canning equipment, handrails made from tree limbs and a bathroom vanity made out of a prized wine barrel. This tiny house makes for the ultimate tiny Alaskan escape!
