Mike and Monique Alvarez are self described world travelers. They've journeyed throughout Asia, Europe and all across America. Antonio and the team are taking the couple's love of travel as their inspiration and creating a sophisticated, vintage, American road trip inspired master suite worthy of these two intrepid travelers. The room comes to life as Antonio combines reclaimed wood, vintage and custom furniture along with Native American inspired textiles and colors. The sleeping area of the room is set off with a custom headboard and a antique dresser that's given a one of a kind makeover by one of Antonio's favorite edgy artists, Buck Wild. The seating area shows off high end photography, a wall sized mural and custom curtains that are distressed Antonio style at the shooting range. In just four days the crew tackles this chic Americana makeover and transforms the space in a one of a kind way.
Nicole and Erin have a bland, white living room with a challenging layout. Their bulky furniture is awkward in the space and their fear of color holds them back. Antonio and the team come to the rescue and give the girls a chic and funky bohemian inspired space. To better utilize the room's strange layout, the will team create two rooms that serve separate purposes but flow together. The new space will showcase a cozy reading nook and custom geometric shelves while the other side of the room will features a one of kind wrap around couch complete with a queen sized chaise lounge. To help the couple get comfortable with color, exotic peacock blue paint and a Botticelli inspired wall mural adorn the walls. The room is now a comfortable, chic, and usable space that's a total conversation piece.
This week Antonio's clients are a young brother and sister who are sharing one very small, very cramped bedroom. They need room to store everything from clothes to craft supplies and enough space to sleep and play. Fortunately, Mom and Dad know just who to call. Antonio and the team start out thinking that making over this tiny room will be a snap, but they quickly realize that the project means all hands on deck. You'll have to 'sea' it to believe it.
The Gonzalez's love their covered outdoor area but what they don't love is its bland and dated look. They want to host parties and lounge poolside there year round but in its current state, the only thing it's good for is storage. Antonio and the crew take this blank canvas and transform it into a sexy Havana-style cabana. To anchor one side of the space Antonio builds a custom bar from reclaimed wood. Setting off the other side of the cabana is a sleek and modern ping pong table made from poured concrete that weighs in at close to 1000 pounds. The team transforms the lackluster walls into conversation pieces with vintage Cuban images created entirely out of wood. And to make the space perfect year round Antonio adds colorful curtains for warmth in the winter or shade in the summer. The part that makes this cabana truly over the top isn't on the walls or behind the bar, it's on the floor. It's time to sit back, relax and enjoy one of the coolest conversions yet.
After a year of renovations Nora and Gary have a very new and very empty living and dining room. White walls, wood floors and one black couch is all that made it through the makeover. The couple wants an edgy modern space that still feels warm and inviting but they have no idea how to make that combination a reality. Antonio and the crew tackle this beautiful blank canvas and start the makeover by bringing in original artwork from artists all around the country including some more infamous than famous. Antonio adds his own artistic touch to the space with an installation that provides both light and shade to the space. The team disguises ordinary great room accessories with retractable artwork you'll have to see to believe. And because this room flows into the dining room area Antonio creates a hand made dining room table made from three kinds of wood along with a custom coffee table with a chrome lightning bolt base add even more artsy touches to this modern makeover.
