This week, Ana heads to Anchorage to help Shelley and Reed Greenwood convert their unfinished garage into a master suite. Some of the projects include a DIY canopy bed and a massive custom closet system, as well as repairing a set of leaky windows that threaten to cause major damage to the Greenwood home. Ana also helps Shelley get comfortable with power tools, and together they create a show-stopping accent wall out of reclaimed pallet boards. During the project, Ana also takes time out to celebrate her husband Jacob's birthday with a family ice fishing excursion.
This week, Ana heads to Fairbanks to help single mother Jami Warrick make her small house more functional. Ana and her team remove an unused exterior door and insulate it to keep the cold Alaskan weather out of Jami's home. Ana also works with Jami to build a lofted bed and desk system that virtually doubles the usable space in Jami's son's bedroom. In addition to a few other DIY furniture projects, Ana teaches Jami how to take care of parts of her house that could threaten to ruin it over time if not properly maintained.
