Couple Kicks Out 80s Kitchen Like the Pros for a Chance to Win Cash

Host Matt Blashaw challenges a married couple, Jason and Erica Lane, to bring their 80s-favored kitchen into the new millennium. Matt and general contractor Craig Hoyt will inspect the new space and estimate it's cost. If their estimate is more than what was actually spent, Jason and Erica win the difference in cash! Jason and Erica's kitchen is an '80s nightmare, and is badly in need of an update. It's cut off from the other rooms of the house, and doesn't function well for the family or guests. Jason's done some remodeling in the past, and is confident he can tackle the job, but he is often quick to make decisions just to get the job done. Erica takes a little more time to think things through, but doesn't really have an affinity for dust, dirt, and power tools. Can they meet in the middle and make this '80s mess a modern marvel?
