How-to Create a Wood Stain Using Rusty Nails
One of the joys of a home renovation is learning to use what you have; taking the old and making it new again. Philly Street Flippin' host Rachel Street shows us how to create a wood stain using old, rusty nails.

Step 1.
Leave rusty nails in a cup of vinegar overnight. The chemical reaction will turn the vinegar into a stain-like solution.

Step 2.
After the stain is ready, paint it onto the wood beam.

Step 3.
The beam will likely need multiple coats in order for the stain to match the rest of the beam or as desired.

Step 4.
Let the stain dry and put on additional coats if necessary until the stain matches the rest of the beam.
