Season 4, Episode 6

Selling Home for Son's Dreams

When Carla's son got recruited to play varsity football at a prestigious high school in Washington D.C., she had high hopes of selling her Maryland home quickly and avoiding the long commute to school. But after rejecting her first offer, she soon learns it was a huge mistake to be so stubborn in a declining market. Carla and her son, Omar are forced to make the painfully long commute for months until she reluctantly decides to drop the price by $50,000. Within days she has two solid offers, and sells their home.
