Season 4, Episode 3

Indian-Influenced Living Area

After living with her brother in a rundown row house in Philadelphia to save money, Nya El-Amin is more than ready to move into her first place—a new three-story townhouse. She has a big personality and wants her living room and dining room (shown at right) to be as over-the-top as she is. Designer Tom Zemon comes up with a plan he calls "The Palace of the Beautiful Girl," which evokes India, complete with Taj Mahal-shaped arches and 70 exotic pillows.
