Million Dollar Contractor Episodes

Season 1, Episode 1

Ultimate Bachelor Pad

Stephen Fanuka and his team are tasked with turning a massive penthouse condo into the ultimate New York bachelor pad. With a top-of-the-line chef's kitchen, a walk-in closet with custom cabinetry and a 700-pound walnut floor-to-ceiling swivel room divider in the theater room, see what challenges the team faces during the complete renovation of this $10 million apartment.

Season 1, Episode 2

19 Designers and 1 Fanuka

Stephen Fanuka is the first contractor ever asked to design and build a room in the prestigious Kips Bay Decorator's Show House. The eyes of the New York design community are on him as he transforms a boring old laundry room into a futuristic, sci-fi masterpiece. Meanwhile, Fanuka Inc. creates a custom home theater in a client's Long Island home.

Season 1, Episode 3

Fifth Avenue Pied-à-Terror

Stephen is hired to do a small bathroom renovation for a client's Upper East Side pied-a-terre. But when the team discovers the apartment plumbing isn't up to code, the size of the project increases dramatically. Murphy's Law is in full effect as this small job becomes a big headache.

Season 1, Episode 4

Nate Berkus & Manhasset

Nate Berkus has bought the apartment of his dreams in Greenwich Village. The famous designer and television host has enlisted Stephen as he renovates, redesigns and rushes to finish the space for Nate to move in. The team focuses on the first-floor library, which boasts 11-foot-high bookcases, custom-fabricated steel doors and an antique French fireplace, in addition to the upstairs dressing room with massive built-in cabinetry. At the same time, Fanuka is also hard at work building a custom study for a Long Island mansion.

Season 1, Episode 5

Rushing to the Finish

To succeed as a contractor in New York, you have to do a few favors - and in this episode, licensed contractor Stephen Fanuka helps his friends, designers Ed Ku and Etienne Coffinier, as they design and build a room for the 2010 Kips Bay Decorator's Show House. With only two weeks to transform a featureless room into an elegant living space, Fanuka Inc. pulls out all the stops to execute Ed and Etienne's vision and in doing so, impress the world design community. At the same time Stephen pushes his crew harder than ever to get a Central Park West Apartment done in time for the family to move in.

Season 1, Episode 6

Upper East Side Family Apt - Part 1

High design meets family life in this enormous Upper East Side apartment. This episode follows the renovation of the "public" spaces - the kitchen, dining room and two living rooms, which feature handmade Venetian plaster moldings, custom pocket doors, and Stephen Fanuka's trademark cabinetry in every room.

Season 1, Episode 7

The Teacher's Apartment

In this episode, licensed contractor Stephen Fanuka takes on a challenge - can he deliver "Million Dollar" quality on a fraction of the price? He attempts to do just that when he renovates and updates a public school teacher's studio apartment. Meanwhile, his team designs and installs a massive, six-hundred-pound pocket door in a spacious and modern riverfront apartment.

Season 1, Episode 8

Upper East Side Family Apt - part 2

The renovation of the huge Upper East Side apartment continues as this episode follows the "private" spaces - the master suite, kids' bedrooms and bathrooms. This renovation incorporates the rarest materials like Thassos pure white marble (priced at $100 per square foot), a hallway lit by concealed LEDs and over-the-top built-ins in every room. Every inch of this apartment is designed and executed to perfection.

Season 1, Episode 9

Glass House

Licensed contractor Stephen Fanuka takes on his biggest challenge yet when he builds a solarium on the roof of a Central Park West apartment building. It's challenging feat of engineering 17 stories above the city. Expect cranes, street closures, and an army of workers, all with Stephen Fanuka at the helm.

Season 1, Episode 10

Upper West Side Gut Renovation

Licensed contractor Stephen Fanuka pulls out all the stops in this Upper West Side pre-war beauty. Highlights include a stunning new floor with a pattern made from four different species of wood (at a cost of $100k), a master bathroom decorated in floor-to-ceiling granite slabs, and a kitchen made from a rare and beautiful African hardwood called Anigre.

Season 1, Episode 11

$2 Million Listening Room

What is an 18,000 square foot apartment missing? A listening room, of course! Licensed contractor Stephen Fanuka and a team of audio engineers build a room that is perfectly suited to listening to music, while also pleasing to the eye. That means no flat surfaces anywhere in the room, special acoustic fabrics and building materials, and engineers' tests to confirm perfect audio clarity. The client charges Fanuka to build the best listening room in the world, and he delivers nothing less.

Season 1, Episode 12

Central Park West Perfection

The Central Park West apartment featured in this episode is exquisite - except for the dated kitchen. Licensed contractor Stephen Fanuka and his team are brought in to modernize the space with custom European finishings, and reconfigure a barely-used formal dining room into a multipurpose family room.

Season 1, Episode 13

Thom Filicia

Licensed contractor Stephen Fanuka teams up with superstar designer Thom Felicia to give an apartment on Central Park West a facelift. Highlights include a completely new kitchen, and a former maid's room will be upgraded into a mother-in-law suite. Design never looked this good.
