Season 3, Episode 4

A House Divided

When first time buyers Nick and Christina found this little house in a central suburb, they snapped it up. At the time, it was easy and nice to have rental income since the house is divided into two self-contained suites. Now that they don't need the extra income to help with the mortgage, they are stuck with a house that's too sectioned off for their family to enjoy. Christina believes taking down walls will make the home perfect for their family, but Nick is ready to find a move-in ready, single family home. To end this argument once and for all enter rivals designer Jillian and realtor Todd. Jillian and her team hope to create lots of new living space in an old broken up house, while Todd tries to sell the idea of starting fresh in a new family home. Tired of talking in circles about their divided home, Nick and Christina are wondering whether they can love their home again or will they list it?
