Frustrated with its lack of personality, style and functional space, the homeowners of this new construction in Tennessee hired a designer to create a menswear-inspired great room where the family of four could gather to watch TV, enjoy formal dinners with guests, and share casual breakfasts together. Forget the muddy-colored walls and dark red brick fireplace: this room needs to be updated with a fresh palette, relaxed style, playful touches and masculine fabrics.
