Season 50, Episode 10

Gene has Decided it's Time to Stop Throwing Money Away on a Rental and Buy a Permanent Home in Cleveland, OH

After moving from Washington D.C. to work at Kent State University in Ohio, Gene has decided it's time to stop throwing money away on a rental and find a home of his own. He's been renting a 2 bedroom apartment for over 3 years and he's tired of it being so uninviting to his guests. In his new place, he'll be looking for a condo with little to no maintenance because he travels a lot for work and doesn't want to come home to chores. He'd also like something bigger than his current place, ideally with hardwood floors and multiple bedrooms. Because Gene is colorblind he's asked his best friend Norman who is an interior designer to join him on his search for a place. Gene will also have Norman decorate the condo and make it colorful and inviting. Armed with realtor Katy Brahler and his opinionated friend, will Gene find what he's looking for? Find out as House Hunters goes to Cleveland, Ohio.
