A couple looks to buy a home near their furniture restoration business in Silver Lake, California. Once they agree on a place, they must put in some sweat equity to make it fit their eclectic tastes. However, they quickly learn that renovating a house is an entirely different project than restoring furniture, and tensions run high as they rush to complete the renovation before their current lease runs out.
