Season 65, Episode 13

Trouble with Traffic in Jakarta, Indonesia

As an international business consultant, Muhammad Hutasuhut has seen a lot of the world but most of it without his wife, Catherine. Over the last eight years, they have lived in separate cities and were both willing to make that sacrifice for his career, but once their daughter Potter came along, family became a top priority. His company offered a job transfer to Jakarta and Muhammad jumped at the chance for his family to all live under one roof. His parents and relatives are from Indonesia, so with the move he not only gets to make up for lost time with Catherine and Potter, but also expose them to his Indonesian roots. As a first time resident, living in Indonesia is also a new adventure for Muhammad, but one new experience he is not excited for is Jakarta's notoriously congested traffic. He would love to find a house close to his downtown office so he could spend less time in stand still traffic and more time with the family. Catherine wants to see Muhammad more too but with homes close to downtown well over their $2,500 a month budget, she doesn't want to break the bank to do it. Watch as Catherine and Muhammad weigh cost versus commute in Jakarta, Indonesia.
