Globetrotting Hoosiers Pat and Karen fell in love with San Jose and are ready to make the move from Indiana, but with no mortgages in Ecuador, they must pay in full with their life savings. They want to be both close to the beach and within walking distance to town. Karen wants a home large enough to host friends and family, but Pat is looking to downsize and is holding firm to their budget.
