Home Town host Erin Napier likes to get a little background and personal history on her clients and families before renovation work begins — to help get a feel for the kind of design, features and aesthetic choices that might work best in their home. Here are a few insights provided by client Mia Walker featured in the episode titled "Small Town Life for a Growing Family".
Erin: Tell us about each person who will be living in this house. What do you love to do? What are you each passionate about?
Mia: I have my titles in this household — from mommy, to maid, to chef and, last but not least, chauffeur. I'm passionate about living and loving all of what life has to offer.
Taylor, my first born, loves to bother her 9-year-old little brother. She is currently pursuing a career in the healthcare industry as a future nurse. Bryce, my 9-year-old, loves playing video games, the computer, and playing basketball. He’s got some creative talents too. I keep all his drawings.
Erin: How would you describe your home and personal style?
Mia: Traditional, comfortable, and family oriented with a splash of vibrant color! I especially love emeralds and reds.
