Repairing a Slate Shower Renovation Gone Awry

Kjirsten and John had their bathroom remodeled with a custom slate tile shower, featuring built-in bench seating. Soon afterwards, they noticed a strange substance seeping out of the tile grout and that their shower wasn't draining properly. When the bathroom ceiling started to peel away, they realized that something is seriously wrong beneath the surface. Host Mike Holmes confirms that the beauty of their new shower is indeed only skin deep, and his team rescues this wretched renovation.
