Kevin's Favorite Conversation Piece
This foot stool belonged to Grace's grandmother. He had it recovered with celery-dyed pony hair. "It's a great pop of color and conversation piece," he says.

Grace says his favorite pieces are the ones found in Chicago's alleys and thrift shops, like this rehabbed china cabinet. He spent a week cleaning it up, adding new hardware and bird decals, then used it to display his white pottery collection.
