Antonio's Best Makeovers From HGTV Design Star
From the infamous hot pink geese to Kathy Griffin's lavender home office, catch up on Antonio Ballatore's most memorable makeovers from Design Star.

Antonio and his teammates Lonni and Amy set the scene for this glamorous living room with bright white walls and furniture. To add color to the space, they paint an accent wall purplish-gray and add pops of hot pink.
Show-Stopping Design
Mix of Styles

Antonio and fellow Design Stars Nathan, Jason, Torie and Jen infuse the kitchen with a Moroccan and Italian theme. While they are able to complete their kitchen, the overall design aesthetic and color scheme brought criticism from the judges.
Pop Art Design

Antonio pays tribute to Design Star with his color choices. While his paint design is interesting and creates a focal point, the judges feel he didn't embrace the challenge of using the groceries creativity.
Light and Airy

Antonio and teammates Torie, Jason and Jany create a Hamptons-inspired family room for the Caswell family. They paint the room two tones of blue to create an airy look and add a small workspace complete with simple white bookcases.
Shades of Blue

Antonio and fellow Design Stars Dan and Torie create a multifunctional, family-friendly space for the Olson family. Two children in the Olsons have special needs, so the designers build a desk area where the kids can work with their therapists.
Going Prehistoric

Antonio designs a bedroom for five-year-old Connor, who loves dinosaurs and art. The headboard and footboard are designed to look like stones, and fun dinosaur cutouts are added to the walls.
Mulit-Functional Backyard

With only 36 hours and $25,000, Antonio and teammates Dan, Lonni and Torie transform a barren backyard into a modern oasis for the Zimmer family.
Modern Workspace

Kathy Griffin wants a work area for Team Griffin, her three full-time employees, that also incorporates her love of modern, Zen style. Antonio uses a fresh shade of purple to lighten the space and add innovative touches like a huge map of the United States for Kathy to map out her tour dates.
Colorful Eclecticism

Antonio works with the Starr family to create an eclectic living room. He deconstructs a vintage armoire to create a one-of-a-kind fireplace surround.
Streamlined Kitchen

Dark granite countertops provide the perfect contrast to the kitchen's new white cabinets and blue-gray walls.
Modern Bedroom

The master bedroom's most striking new feature is the bright green walls. In addition, Antonio makes the space more functional for the whole family with a seating area and workspace.
Bright and Starry

For the kid's room, Antonio uses a bold wall treatment of red stars to set the stage and adds a daybed and striped poufs for seating.
