Season 10, Episode 4

A '70s Kitchen Sendoff

Three years ago, Eileen and Michael Schneidman settled with their kids into a 35-year-old Dutch Colonial home in a wooded Connecticut suburb. Over the years, the couple has made several exterior improvements in an effort to update their home and now they are ready to tackle the inside. Since the kitchen area, which consists of the laundry, mudroom and adjoining powder room, is the most commonly-used space, they want to begin there. This outdated area is more than they feel comfortable tackling alone so the Schneidmans are hoping design professionals can help them update and unify this space so that is becomes more useful and family friendly.
