HGTV's Restoration of the 'Brady Bunch' House Gets Previewed in a New Digital Series
Get a first look at HGTV’s 2019 breakout show 'A Very Brady Renovation’ in this advance behind-the-scenes digital series -- ‘Building Brady’.

Let the ‘Brady Bunch’ house rebuild begin!
In case you hadn’t heard, HGTV has some extraordinary things in the works for 2019 as the network brings together some of its top on-air talent along with all six of the TV siblings from the original Brady Bunch cast — in a new renovation show aiming to restore the actual Brady house (the one seen in the original series) to its full, vintage '70s grandeur.
It's a one-of-a-kind TV-crossover event and one of the HGTV’s most ambitious projects ever. The fun starts now with the first in a series of digital clips offering just a taste of what to expect when the full series airs in 2019.
Building Brady: A Digital Video Series
As seen in this first installment of the exclusive short-form videos, HGTV stars like Property Brothers Drew and Jonathan Scott, Leanne and Steve Ford of Restored by the Fords, Mina and Karen from Good Bones, Lara Spencer of Flea Market Flip and Hidden Potential host Jasmine Roth gathered at the site of one of America's most recognizable TV homes — and soon were joined by American sitcom royalty Maureen McCormick, Eve Plumb, Susan Olsen, Barry Williams Christopher Knight and Mike Lookinland. (That would be Marcia, Jan, Cindy, Greg, Peter and Bobby to you and me.)
The actual Brady cast is going to be here looking over our shoulders. They're going to be here to see everything, so we want to make sure it's authentic.Drew Scott
The excitement is palpable as HGTV's personalities await the arrival and reunion of the original cast members — the first such gathering of all six Brady kids in 15 years. Jasmine Roth can barely contain her enthusiasm as she anticipates meeting one of her TV heroes, Maureen, aka Marcia.

Surreality sets in after seeing that oh-so-familiar Brady home exterior, only to find out that the actual interiors bear little or no resemblance to those seen by millions in the original '70s series. That's something that HGTV intends to fix as they undertake a full restoration of the home and remodel of the interiors — all in faithful Brady-era style.

And for the six actors who portrayed some of America's favorite prime-time kids of all time, visiting the location (some of them, truth be told, for the first time) — to reunite with their TV "siblings" — is a special kind of homecoming and one with both thrills and heartwarming moments. Take a look. We think you'll agree.
