About

After fifteen years of working and living in these cities, Stacey has merged metropolitan influences into a unique style that lies between town and country, opulence and ease. Stacey credits city living for her bold style and clear process when approaching a new project. A deep understanding and appreciation of essential design principles steadily guide her, while each client and space offers new avenues for exploration and insight. While Stacey’s foundation is based on clear design principles, she also knows how to creatively bend them in just the right ways.

Actively influencing current design trends and regularly joining the conversation, Stacey has appeared on television, in print, on radio and the Internet. She competed as a finalist on HGTV Design Star; was named “Earth Angel” in a CS Magazine (Modern Luxury) article highlighting an all green-build penthouse; penned “At Home, Couture” for Today’s Chicago Woman, and was featured in a SheKnows.com online production, “Home Stretch,” a few of her many media adventures.

Fall 2013 marks the debut of the Stacey Cohen Collection. In collaboration with distributor Arcadian Home and Design Shuffle, an online interior design community, the Stacey Cohen Collection launches with six concisely curated collections from more than 150 vendors. The six collections are inspired by the cities where Stacey has lived, each informing her style and making a strong imprint on her visual database.

Stacey’s dedication and talent has lead to new many collaborations and successful partnerships including Rue La La and Gilt City design consultations in Chicago and her 2012 Pop-Up Design Studio in New York.

Before launching her professional career, Stacey studied Interior Architecture at Parson’s School of Design and Architecture at University of Illinois, Chicago. In 2009, Stacey earned LEED AP accreditation (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design). With a big portfolio and even bigger plans, in 2011, Stacey was accepted and completed the Accelerator program for Entrepreneurs Organization (EO), a division of Young Professionals Organization, YPO. The intensive yearlong training program helped shape the current success of SCi, which is based on best practices for clients and projects.
