About
From a young age, Justine Sterling loved art and knew that she would ultimately have a career in the creative field, but it was a high school art teacher, John Cowan, who ultimately recognized her potential talent for interior design.
In Cape Town, South Africa, Justine began painting oversized acrylics of details in the old Victorian house in which she was raised. But, she never identified that with a love of interior architecture.
He challenged her desire to enter graphic design school and instead introduced her to the school of interior design where she later studied. Justine feels fortunate to be educated in a field that she loves and has a passion for. Now, design is part of her every day life.
Justine’s personal style is contemporary with African influences from her upbringing in Cape Town and visits to neighboring countries. Her style is always evolving, yet a clean, classic attitude to design is ever-constant.
