How to Build an Outdoor Chandelier

Materials Needed:
- wood board in desired size
- spray paint in desired color
- (4) #8 screw eye hooks
- 1/4" manila rope
- 8 mason jars
- seeds/beans
- 8 votive candles in glass holders
Paint Wood Board
Spray top and sides of wood plank with spray paint, and allow to dry completely. Flip and repeat for bottom side. Add second coat, if needed.
Add Hardware
Screw eye hooks into wood board at each corner — six inches from each end of the board and one inch in from sides.
Secure Mason Jars
Measure and mark desired placement of jars, making them equal distance from each other. Using a hot glue gun, make a circle of glue approximately the size of the bottom of the jar and attach a jar. Repeat for each one.

Fill Mason Jars
Fill mason jars one-third full with seeds or beans. Place the glass-contained votive candles in the jars centered and lowered into the seeds to keep them in place.

Add Manila Rope
Measure the distance of rope you will need to hang from the desired location. String rope through screw hooks and hang securely.
Note: Don't leave lighted candles unattended.
