Sedge, Carex flagellifera, features upright, arching clumps of wiry foliage that is gingery-brown in color. This perennial grass grows well in full sun and dry to moist soil. It grows just over 3 feet tall and spreads almost as wide. Plant alone as accents to low creepers, or in multiples for a contemporary-looking groundcover.
