'Olympic Gold' may not win you any medals, but if you're on the hunt for a true gold flower to brighten your summer garden, look no further. This stunning daylily from Oakes Daylilies produces large, deep yellow blooms on 28-inch stalks in mid-summer.
When planting, make sure to give daylilies plenty of room to grow —18 - 24 inches apart— or you risk stunted growth and foliage, but no flowers.
