Tall, wood-framed mirrors make stylish headboards for these twin-sized platform beds. The unexpected muted color combination of orange, turquoise and gold accessories adds to the earthiness of the wooden bed frames. Design by Lori Dennis.
Style is taken to new heights with this platform bed that doubles as an off-set bedroom nook. A zebra-wood headboard provides the perfect backdrop for reading, resting or relaxing. Design by Andreea Avram Rusu.
This cherry wood bed delivers clean, modern lines, particularly in the curved support at the foot. Linens in shades of blue and gray allow the wooden frame to stand out against the darker tones of the space. Design by Erica Islas.
Designer Lori Dennis creates an eye-catching contrast with the light and dark reclaimed wood of the bed’s headboard and platform. She carries the varying color tones through to the stone fireplace, wooden floors and organic root chair.
Straight and Simple
Designer Randy Weinstein uses a wooden headboard and platform frame to create a simple striped effect that becomes the focal point of the space. Turquoise accent pillows provide contrast, while the rest of the room remains neutral.
Say goodbye to reality and step into this romantic, bedroom getaway. SPI Design used textural rope and natural wood logs to create a rustic frame and base for this floating platform bed. A white canopy and crisp, white linens work with hints of taupe and tan to create a relaxing, in-home vacation spot.
Designer Andreas Charalambous created a modern and cozy retreat with minimal furnishings. A dark-wood platform bed gives the illusion of floating in mid-air. Burnt orange bedding and a chocolate brown body pillow contrast with the all-white floors, curtains and walls.
