Materials Needed

  • pumpkin (live or artificial)
  • sweater
  • sharp scissors
  • yarn or twine
  • marker

Cut Sweater to Size

Cut sweater along one side seam and lay open on a flat surface. Pull sweater fabric around pumpkin and mark with a marker or pencil where circular cut should be made. Cut fabric along marked line. It’s best to leave a little excess than to cut it too close. Tip: This project would also work with old flannel shirts.
