Thanksgiving Kids' Craft: Fingerprint Turkey

Materials Needed:
- white card stock
- circle cutter
- acrylic craft paint (colors shown below)
- permanent markers (colors shown below)
- pint-sized paper to-go containers
Prep Paper and Gather Materials
Gather materials shown below. Use a circle cutter to cut a 3 1/4" circle (one for each child) out of white card stock.

Add Feathers
Squirt a little of each paint color onto a disposable paper plate or piece of aluminum foil. Let kids dip their fingers into the craft paint, one color at a time, then press the paint onto the white card stock to create the turkey's tail feathers (Images 1-3).

Add Body, Beak and Eyes
Help the child dip their thumb into the light tan paint then press it into the center of the fingerprints to create the turkey's body (Image 1). Once paint has fully dried, add the turkey's eyes and beak with permanent markers (Image 2).
