Choose Your Image
Create or purchase a high-resolution image of blooming flowers. To purchase, try a stock photography company, like Veer.com or iStockphoto.com. To create one of your own, use a digital camera (not your smartphone) to take a detailed photo of flowers.
Print Image on Fabric
Upload your photo to an online fabric designer, like Spoonflower.com. Use the settings to print the photo on fabric large enough to cover the entire canvas, plus 4" on each side. The final printed fabric size should be 38x48", at least.
Prep Canvas and Fabric
Lay the printed fabric face down on the ground. Place the canvas, also face down, on top of the fabric. Make sure you leave a few inches of fabric all around the canvas.

Wrap Fabric Around Canvas
Start on one side and wrap the fabric around the canvas. Staple the fabric in place.

Continue to wrap and staple all four sides, stretching the fabric as you go. Leave the corners for last.

Staple Fabric at Corners
Hold the corner straight up in the air and flatten the fabric down to create a triangle. This will make a clean corner. Staple in place.
