Make the Mica Mixture

Add two tablespoons castor oil to a small bowl (Image 1). Place a small scoop of mica powder to the oil, and slowly stir until combined (Images 2 and 3). Set aside. Note: Don't stir too much or the lava lamp effect won't work.

Add the Vegetable Glycerin

Remove the cap from the lip gloss roller tube, and fill the tube three-fourths of the way up with vegetable glycerin. Use a small funnel to make it easier to pour.

Add the Mica Mixture

Gently fill the rest of the roller tube with the mica mixture using an eyedropper. (Images 1-3). Gently poke the mica mixture with the clay sculpting tool to create the path for the air bubbles (Image 4).

Add Flavors and Scents

To top it off, add a small scoop of edible glitter and a few drops of flavors and scents (Images 1 and 2). Replace the cap back on the roller tube (Image 3). Flip it over and back up, and watch the lava lamp magic happen (Image 4).
