How to Make Felt Egg Easter Baskets

Materials Needed:
- 3 colors felt
- ribbon
- glue - hot glue or tacky glue
- 8.5x11" cardstock
Attach Template to Felt
Print and cut out templates. Glue the two egg shapes and basket base strip to a piece of felt.

Cut Felt
Cut felt around the three shapes about 1/4-inch away from the cardstock.

Glue Second Felt Piece
Glue the cardstock and felt egg shapes and basket base to a second piece of felt. Cut out felt shapes about 1/4-inch away from the edge of the first piece of felt.

Create Basket Base
Place one felt egg face down, and affix felt-covered basket base strip in a U-shape along the bottom edge of the egg using hot glue or tacky glue (image 1). This creates the bottom of the basket (image 2).

Add Finishing Touches
Attach the second felt-covered egg shape on the other side of the felt strip to enclose the basket. Print and cut tie and bow templates, and attach felt to them. Glue to the front of the baskets, and add a ribbon for the handle.
