How to Make a Wooden Photo Frame
The DIY experts at HGTV Magazine created this summer project you may have enjoyed as a kid—now with grown-up style.

Materials Needed:
Step 1
Using scissors, cut craft sticks into three
sizes—we cut ours to about 2 1/2 inches, 1 3/4 inches, and 1 inch long.
Step 2
Use wood glue to adhere the longest craft stick pieces to an unfinished wood frame as shown. Fill in the corners with rectangle pieces so the entire frame is covered.
Step 3
Repeat to create a second layer, then a third layer as shown.
Step 4
Sand down the outer edges with a sanding block to make them smooth.
