How to Make a Vintage-Inspired Tulle Hair Comb

Materials Needed:
- 1/2 yard of glittery tulle
- matching thread
- sewing needle
- a small hair comb
Cut Tulle
Cut three 4-inch-wide pieces of tulle. Each piece should measure 4 inches by 1/2 yard.

Stitch Tulle
On one 4-inch-wide piece, make wide stitches down the long side of the fabric 1/4 inch from the edge. Pull the thread taut to bunch up the fabric along the long edge. Knot the thread and cut off the excess. Repeat on the other two 4-inch-wide pieces.

Attach Tulle to Comb
Line up the bunched edge of one fabric piece with the comb edge. Use the needle and thread to attach the fabric to the comb by stitching in between the teeth of the comb.
Tip: Don't worry about getting the stitching perfect; because the thread matches the fabric, it will be hidden in between the fabric bunches. Just stitch until the fabric piece is attached securely to the comb.
Repeat with the remaining two bunched fabric pieces. Knot thread and cut off excess.

Wear and Enjoy
Fluff out the fabric and place in your hair for a fun party accessory, or make several combs and give them out as wearable party favors.
