How to Make a Diaper Cake
This cleverly constructed “cake” is a fun addition to any baby shower. Find out how easy it is to create a two-layer design, complete with pretty decorations.

Materials
- baby diapers
- rubber bands
- scissors
- ribbon, yarn or streamers

Step 1

Roll up each diaper individually and secure with a small rubber band.
Step 2

Keep creating rolls until you have enough to form your tiers. We used 10 for our base tier and another five for the top layer.
Step 3

Now, stand up the diaper rolls and secure with large rubber bands to create your two layers.
Step 4

Cover the rubber bands with your choice of ribbon or decorative trim.
Step 5

Stack the completed tiers on top of each other to create your layer “cake.”
