How to Conceal a Litter Box in a Table

Materials Needed:
- side table
- litter box
- tape measure
- pencil
- builder's square
- compass or round object for tracing
- drill
- 1/4" wood drill bit
- variable speed jigsaw
- 1/8" thick jigsaw blade
Choose a Table
Find the right size table for your living space. Make sure the table has cabinet doors.

Measure Litter Box and Cabinet
Measure the height of the litter box to determine how high to cut the opening for your cat (image 1). Measure the outside of the cabinet for the height of the litter box (image 2).

Mark the Opening
Mark the center of the cabinet side so the opening is centered (image 1). Draw the opening with a straightedge (image 2). Trace for the top of the opening using a compass or round edge trace (image 3).

Drill a Hole
Drill a hole wide enough to fit the jigsaw. Make sure the hole is drilled on the inside of the line using a 1/4" wood drill bit.

Cut the Opening
Cut from top center to the bottom corner using a jigsaw. Repeat on the other side.

Position Litter Box
Place litter box inside table, ensuring proper fit (image 1). Add a hinge to the cutout for a cat door (image 2).
