Materials Needed:

  • small paper cups
  • white card stock
  • circle cutter or scissors
  • bag of mini marshmallows
  • food-safe marker

Prep Game Cups

Print the template attached above onto white card stock. Using a circle cutter or scissors cut out each circle. Wrap narrow black ribbon around cups, cutting off the excess and securing the ribbon with glue. Apply a dot of glue to the back of each circle then attach them to the paper cups concealing the ribbon's ends.

Prep Marshmallows and Play!

Use a food-safe marker to draw ghost faces on marshmallows (Image 1). Alternately, you can use a permanent marker if you aren't concerned about kids eating the game pieces.

To play: Give each child a set number of marshmallows (for instance, 10) then set up the cups with the largest point numbers in the back. One at a time, line kids up so everyone is equal distance from the cups and let them start tossing the marshmallows into the cups (Image 2). The child with the most points wins a prize.
