Garden Gift: Simmering Potpourri

Homemade gifts are sometimes the most cherished. They are a thoughtful and special way to share the spirit of the season with those around you.
Each year, I like to make simmering potpourri. I love how it adds another layer to the holidays, making the home feel even more warm and inviting. Not only do the sights of the holidays have special meaning, but scents also bring me back to some of my fondest memories. Try making and giving this potpourri to neighbors, friends, family and teachers this year.
