The DIY experts at HGTV Magazine recreated this flea market find. Here’s how you can too.

Materials Needed:
- spray paint
- bent-tip tapestry needle
- yarn (any color)
Step 1
Pop out the mirror from the frame if you can, or tape it off. Spray-paint the frame black. Let dry.
Step 2
Plan out the pattern you’ll make with yarn. We took a picture of our mirror, then drew a design of triangles and lines on a printout of it.
Step 3
Using a bent-tip tapestry needle (sold at crafts stores), weave thick yarn through the holes in the caning to make your design. Knot each piece in the back to secure.
