DIY Floral-Filled Birdcages
With some simple floral design mechanics, you can create a beautiful piece of decor that will fit right in at a tea party or rose-themed baby shower. All of these blooms and greens are easily found at your local florist or grocery store floral department.

Materials Needed
- two types of roses
- one type of spray roses
- ivy and pittosporum
- baby's breath
- decorative birdcage
- floral foam mini cage
- floral sheers

Step 1

Soak the foam in a bucket of water for 10 minutes. Place the foam inside of the birdcage.
Step 2

Start with the greens. Cut the stem of the green at an angle. Remove the leaves on the bottom two inches of the stem. Stick into the foam. Use greens at different lengths to create movement in your design.
Step 3

Now add the baby’s breath.
Step 4

Add the roses. Cut the stem at an angle and stick into the foam. Place some roses inside the birdcage and some flowing out of the door and out of the top.
Step 5

Style your rose-filled birdcages along a table or buffet. They look beautiful on a dessert table or as a centerpiece.
